AbstractHistoryArchive Description

A poem in fourteen numbered stanzas recounting the premature labour of the wife of the Phinehas and the birth of her son Ichabod. (Phinehas's wife went into labour when she learned that the ark of the covenant had been captured by the Philstines and that her father-in-law and her husband were dead. She died soon after Ichabod was delivered.)
