An announcement by G. W. Evans regarding the publication of the new journal, the 'Australian Magazine'. Evans, the intended publisher, outlines the proposed content of the journal.

(It appears this magazine was never published although G. R. Nichols (q.v.) published a journal under the same name in 1838 and was probably connected with efforts to begin the magazine in 1836.)
