  • The Cairns Post condemns the publication Figaro for its practice of lifting news from country newspapers and changing it slightly to avoid having to acknowledge the source. The publication is particularly criticised for its distasteful attempts at humour. The writer suggests Figaro study reputable papers for several years before publishing such 'nauseating and unfeeling jokes'.
