Location:
Set in a migrant community centre in Glenwood, in the western suburbs of Sydney, but was shot in Granville and West Ryde. Moran notes 'John Cameron, a former head of ABC Drama, had set Certain Women in that same location but quickly discovered that it developed a North Shore luxuriance and affluence. City West, on the other hand, never lost its earthiness.'
