AbstractHistoryArchive Description

According to Moran's Guide to Australian TV Series, fourteen-year-old Kay takes a dislike to her mother's new boyfriend who apparently has hypnotic powers.

BONZA (National Cinema and Television Databases) offers a slightly more detailed synopsis:

'Evil Adrian wins the heart of Linda, a lonely single mother. But Kay, her daughter is not impressed by Adrian's smooth appearance and his sinister attempts to win her over. It all comes to a head when Linda and Kay go to spend the weekend at Willow Bend, Adrian's isolated country mansion. There, Kay finds she is spied on by the sinister Bernard (a general labourer on the property). The two aunts seem to be hiding something and Adrian's son Ian is strangely silent. As Kay's mum is drawn deeper and deeper under Adrian's spell, it seems the key to everything is in the eyes.'
