    When my poems were gathered for publication
    I noticed how often colours inspired the lines.
    There is no dedicated rainbow poem in the book.
    The book is the rainbow.

    My family, my friends, those that I have loved
    and admired are linked, nameless to every aspect,
    every subject and season of my experience.
    These people are the book.
