AbstractHistoryArchive Description

Refers to a recently defeated motion that Hansard should be supplied free of charge to newspaper propietors for distribution to their subscribers. The motion was supported by the Premier of Queensland, S. W. Griffith, but The Cairns Post agrees with The Townsville Bulletin that their readers would have little interest in 'wading through the eloquent utterances of our legislators'.
