AbstractHistoryArchive Description

The Colonist reports that Supreme Court Judge Burton recommended that William Watt be removed from Sydney, despite his having been exonerated on charges of bribery. Further events overtook Burton's opinion and Watt was apprehended for his attack on Major Mudie during the Supreme Court trial.
