  • There was no meeting of the Cairns Dramatic Club on Thursday night as the members seemed disinterested.
  • Cairns has had a surfeit of entertainment recently, so much so that the youth of the town is at risk of becoming debauched. Matthews' Circus is due in town and will no doubt have the boys imitating their tricks. None the less, it is good to see so many companies visiting and the writer wishes the circus well.
