AbstractHistoryArchive Description

The writer for the Sydney Monitor accuses the Sydney Gazette of plagiarism. An unattributed article in the Gazette was identical to one published earlier in the Review; the latter was written by Murray.

The Sydney Monitor column also comments on Murray's writing style - while generally praising Murray's efforts, the Monitor expresses some reservations.
