'Boundary 2, which expresses commitment "to understanding the present and approaching the study of national and international culture and politics through literature and the human sciences," has imposed a more limited editorial filter than some comparable journals, by eschewing articles falling within "the standard professional areas" and publishing only those pieces "that identify and analyze the tyrannies of thought and action spreading around the world and that suggest alternatives to these emerging configurations of power." This mission lends the journal an overtly anti-establishment perspective on the study of literature. Articles generally number six to nine per issue and run 15-30 pages in length. Themed issues are common.' (Source: Ulrichsweb)
