AbstractHistoryArchive Description

The street name plate offers 'an "open sesame" to the chambers of memory...If you walk down the street on the northern side of the Town Hall, Sydney...you may observe a name plate on which is painted "DRUITT STREET"...when you walk down Druitt Street you may have for company the unscrupulous Major and the fair but fickle Peggy.'
