AbstractHistoryArchive Description

Launched at the 1994 Gen Con, Valkyrie was a roleplaying magazine published in the United Kingdom by Partizan Press (an imprint of Caliver Books). Overseen by founding editor Dave Renton (formerly of Roleplayer Independent), the magazine contained a mix of news, reviews, scenarios and articles for various roleplaying games and systems. When the first series of the magazine folded in 1998, it was relaunched the following year under the editorship of Jay Forster. The second incarnation of Valkyrie folded, however, late 2003.

Notes

  • Liz Holliday was fiction editor for Valkyrie magazine for its first thirteen issues.
