With the header 'Every Page of "The Home" Delivers Its Message', the text concludes: 'No other papers in the Commonwealth can claim to attract readers by their advertisements - their pages of advertised matter are quite a secondary consideration in the minds of their subscribers. When one bears these facts in mind it must be seen that The Home, which reaches the class of people with money to spend, is the ideal advertising medium in Australia to-day.' (p. 5)

I cut off the covers, trimmed the pictures, and pasted them round the walls in the form of a dado…When one deals with "The Home" covers in this way, one realises as never before what a delightful series of covers have been used on this magazine in the eleven years of its life...On the walls of my living-room are represented George Lambert, Margaret Preston, Thea Proctor, Doris Zinkeisen, Schoukaeff, Hera Roberts, [and] Adrian Feint...My thanks go out...to the editors of "The Home" for their consistently good choice of covers for their publication.'
