  • Kendall refers to this poem in his letter to James Henry, dated 5 March, 1881 (ML 3775/9-11). He writes: 'A satire of mine may appear in this week's Freeman. I write there, and in the Bulletin, under the signature "The Mopoke". Next week's Bulletin will contain a political squib from my pen.'
