- Miss Stanley presented her new program last night, demonstrating her versatility as she portrayed a range of characters. Pieces performed were 'A Night of Suspense during the Reign of Terror' and 'Widow Wiggins'. Her rapid changes of costume and character delighted the audience.
- Mr John Gibb's well-deserved benefit was held at the Charlie Napier last night to a standing-room-only audience. Unfortunately the reviewer cannot comment on the performance due to the 'strong phalanx of extremely opaque individuals' who blocked all possible views of the stage. However the applause, which 'made the old walls shake again' suggested the program was successful.
- The Criterion Concert Hall performances continue to be successful. Mr Emery is to be complimented on providing the entertainments and on his excellent taste in his choice of performers.
