AbstractHistoryArchive Description

The Age announces that, as of Monday, 18 April 2011, its obituaries section will have 'a permanent new home, Monday to Friday, on the inside back left-hand page'. When space permits, an additional obituary will appear at the top of the death notices page. The Age notes that this enhanced service 'is in response to reader demand for what are often the most interesting stories in the paper, about the lives of Australian and international figures, from batters to people who changed the world'.
