AbstractHistoryArchive Description

Mr James Anderson left Ballarat by the 8.30 a.m. train for Melbourne. From there, accompanied by fellow actors Mr and Mrs Robert Heir, he will proceed to Sydney to appear there on Wednesday night. The Ballarat theatre will reopen in a fortnight with a performance by Madame Celeste and company, who will perform a 'round of characters'.
