AbstractHistoryArchive Description

'"The Glorious Nosebleed" is a new contemporary theatre work that tells the story of strangers, a young boy and girl who find themselves trapped together in a mysterious underground room. The young nameless boy (hereto referred to as Boy) haphazardly traps himself with a young nameless girl (Girl). As Boy comes to understand the reality of his situation, mysteries are glimpsed at, light bulbs discussed, and a nosebleed approaches. It's absurd. Boy and Girl's grim subterranean night is relayed through a fractured series of interconnected images and scenes; the audience ultimately piece the night together as it unfolds. This production is about entrapment, escapism, luminosity and nothing.' Source: www.metroarts.com.au/ (Sighted 04/03/2011).
