AbstractHistoryArchive Description

'Disillusioned defactos Davo and Gemma have travelled to Queensland from Victoria looking for a new life while the more conservative Revins from Canberra are looking for a place to retire. The Lees from South Australia are seeking a rural lifestyle while mad nut musician Dan doesn't seem to come from or be going anywhere.

Based around the antics of this eclectic bunch of families and idiosyncratic characters whose paths cross one night, the show promises to make audiences laugh, cringe, cry, clap and sing along.

So get ready for some wonderful music, spectacular circus, slapstick, true blue tales of life, cringe-worthy Dad Jokes and a bash away at the old piano.

Are We There Yet? is a free roving roadshow that brings family-friendly theatre to nine parks across Brisbane for Brisbane Festival 2010.' (Producer's blurb)
