The article mentions that Germana Gierke Zárate, daughter of Hugo Gierke Kisteiner and Odilia Zárate Villegas, presented copies of her parents' books to Provincial Governor Andrés Worm Drago in Arica, Chile. Hugo Gierke Kisteiner's book is a three volume work titled Arica : tierra de historia : anecdótica caleidoscópica (Arica land of history : anecdotal kaleidoscope), published in Santiago, Chile, 1986.
