Note: Editor's note: 'We find the following little gem among a series of illustrations of Australia, in the Bathurst Free Press, by Mr. H. J. Monahan of Triangle Flat. The writer has little time to spare if he seriously intends to perform his promise, as the year 1861 is fast drawing to a close, and if his case is not an exceptional one to that of poets, in general, it will take some time to furnish the bridal trousseau'.
