'Cleaners' con seudónimo, Luis Abarca , single work short story humour

Set in Sydney, the story opens with the narrator commenting on the names of cleaners working in an office block on York Street: 'Juan Domingo Perón, Julio Iglesias, Diego Maradona, José Artigas, Leo Dan, Pablo Neruda, Alfredo Distéfano, Lucho Barrios y Augusto Pinochet. Este ultimo era el que limpiaba los toiletes.' [Juan Domingo Perón, Julio Iglesias, Diego Maradona, José Artigas, Leo Dan, Pablo Neruda, Alfredo Distéfano, Lucho Barrios and Augusto Pinochet. When accosted by readers of his column complaining of the incomprehensibility of 'Las desventuras del Latin Lover', the narrator explains that this particular column was printed with nearly two pages, or close to a thousand words, omitted and it was no wonder it was incomprehensible.
