Having overstayed in Tahiti, an Englishman is being sought by the Gendarmerie. He falls in with a French escapee and the two live on the run for several months and evade detection. Having been spotted and pursued, they become separated while trying to outrun the law. The Englishman stumbles over a small cliff only to find a familiar English face gazing down at him.
