AbstractHistoryArchive Description

'Ron was born in Balranald and spent the first years of his life on a station out of Ivanhoe. The family went back into Balranald and lived on the outskirts of the Mission when Ron was about eight. He went to Balranald Central School and left there to work as a junior stockman as soon as he could. Some years later, Ron got back into study, graduated as a primary school teacher and for the last twenty years has worked at Coomealla High School as an Aboriginal education assistant. Ron never lost his love for the bush, still goes camping every chance he gets and i an accomplished horsebreaker.' (Source: Publishers website)
