AbstractHistoryArchive Description

Visiting the country, city girl, Ethel, admires the women of the west and their devotion to their husbands, many of whom are returned soldiers. The experience, however, means Ethel feels even more keenly the seeming indifference of a returned soldier who has long been the object of her own affection. Upon returning to the city, Ethel is invited to speak of her experiences at a fund-raising evening for the Bush Nurses, and her touching speech is an enlightening experience for one member of the audience.
