AbstractHistoryArchive Description

A postal worker dreams of becoming a great detective but realises that a criminal could earn much more than a policeman. A stranger makes friends with him and offers to rob the post office with him. The postal worker's only part, after having unwittingly given the criminal the day when the post office had money, was to get knocked out at closing time. He later writes to Sydney for his share and receives green ointment instead.
