Notes

  • Editor's note: A number of our gilt warriors are particularly anxious to induce the Government to stand the racket of sending a Victorian regiment to battle with the stricken nigger in South Africa, but Mr Turner and his colleagues do not catch on. The Free Lance is inclinded to grieve over this resolution - such a fine opportunity of getting rid of a lot of haw-haw jingoes may not offer itself in a hurry.
