  • Editor's note: News from SBS Radio informed that more than 1200 police and soldiers , who were supported by helicopters and fire brigades, fired 600 tear gas grenades into White Head closed camp in an attempt to force Vietnamese boat people to go back to Vietnam. Part of the camp caught fire. Inmates were beaten, some 200 were injured.
