The Moreton Bay Free Press was Brisbane's second newspaper during the 1850s. It was established in part to provide a voice for the conservative pastoral interests of the Moreton Bay and Darling Downs districts. From the issue of 30 August, 1859 it was titled the Queensland Free Press. It ceased publication in December 1859 and was absorbed by the Queensland Guardian.
Note that the surviving record of the Moreton Bay Free Press is incomplete.
