Notes

  • Author's note: Tjungurrayi is an Aboriginal man in his sixties, a great dot painter, a world traveller - he's dined at banquet tables with anyone from royalty to Tibetan monks. He lives at Kintore, which is a huddle of sand and wind-swept buildings in the western desert of Central Australia and he paints most days.
