A poem in honour of Lady Diamantina Bowen (1833-1893), wife of inaugural Queensland Governor Sir George Bowen (q.v.). Lady Bowen had arrived in Brisbane with her husband and daughter and an accompanying vice-regal party on 10 December 1859.
