  • In this piece about the 'icons ... that spell out Australianess ...' Gary Tippet 'takes a look at half a dozen traditional national icons and the people who represent them in 2010.' As well as the bush poet, the icons include the drover's wife, the corner milk bar, the Bondi lifesaver, the barmaid, and the digger.
