A New Year's Day Adventure In Australia, single work children's fiction children's
Willie joins his father on a droving trip from the Northern Territory to New South Wales. Willie gets lost on New Year's Day, while chasing a buffalo calf. Two 'blackfellows' save him from a crocodile and, despite language difficulties, lead Willie back to the drovers. They are rewarded with damper, tobacco and meat.
