The experiences of Mr. M. O'Sullivan ex-deputy Commissioner of Police. Includes stories about a train journey from Dulbydilla to Mitchell with a dead Chinese man and his murderer, the career of Wild Toby, the murder of Constable Dwyer, a bank manager's ruse, a policeman saving an innocent man from hanging, and how a 10 year old boy was exchanged for a kelpie (dog).
