AbstractHistoryArchive Description

Mrs Tovey has three successful sons-in-law, each one in a different branch of the Armed Forces. She has decided her youngest daughter, Vivienne, should marry an explorer, but Vivienne has other ideas and announces her engagement to the amiable and gentle Willie Fitzgerald. Mrs Tovey thinks Willie will never match the heroic exploits of her other sons-in-law, but Willie demonstrates a far greater heroism of his own.
