Min is a plain and lonely girl who is ridiculed by her fellow workshop workers for her daydreams. Min believes that one day she will meet the man of her dreams. She thinks she has found him when a new boarder, a young man, tells her she has perfect feet. He has ambitions to design shoes and his appreciation of her feet leads her to believe he is as attracted to her as she is to him. When his designs are accepted Min is thrilled for him, but she receives a bitter disappointment.
