Notes

  • Dedication: I dedicate this book to the memory of "Granny" McKellar, Jessie Shillingworth, and Gran Mitchell - three grand old ladies who shared so much of the Kunja, Mardgany and Kooma culture with me.
  • The title of this book, Matya-Mundu, is a word from the Kunja language which means "long ago".
