The 'Notice to Correspondents' on page two of this issue refers to 'A Protestant's Letter respecting the Roman Catholic Paper', opining that 'we do not imagine that an [sic] such Paper will be established.'
The Notice also states that the editor has 'taken sufficient notice of the "Illustrious Author" to whom "Phoeon" addressed his verses, and must therefore decline further contributions relating to the truly "original" poems of Mr. Beverley Suttor.'
