    Mr Editor, I do not know whether the above is exactly adapted to your column, or agreeable to your taste, but I know that metrical composition of this sort sometimes adorns 'the C.....t' (to wit, the vision in yesterday's publication, 14th instant) and this would be in measure paying him back in his own coin, for surely if we follow the immaculate one, one cannot err.
