  • Author's note: SIR, The religious Journal of 30th July still teems with scurrilous and opprobious language - ditto the 'Herald.' - What for? Envy, to be sure, of Watt and the late Editor's (O'Shaughnessy) superior abilities in the quill-driving line. The 'Colonist' is determined to cleanse the 'Aegean Stable of the Press' - the real Editor is certainly fit for dirty matters, if one is to judge of him, as one must by his indecent writings in such a religious Journal!!! 'Tis a fit subject to eulogise the Editor? Let's try -
