In early 2008, Hachette Lothian Children's Books released a six book series titled The Faraway Fairies, books packed with fantastic fairies, gnomes, dragons and evil goblins. With interest in fairy books high among young girls, Dianne Bates decided to seek out and interview the author, Eleanor Coombe, who lives in Tasmania.
