AbstractHistoryArchive Description

'A gritty, dark comedy based on the allegory of Cain and Abel, "One Long Night in the Land of Nod" tells the story of two brothers caught in a web of deep distrust, despair and resentment. Set against the poetic backdrop of a dusty sheep station, brothers Kane and Aaron reunite after ten years of estrangement, as their father lies dying from leukaemia.

'What follows is a bitter battle over the family property and a series of dark and comic twists which cut right to the heart of brotherhood.'
