AbstractHistoryArchive Description

A farmer's wife has tried for ten years to win the fifth prize in an art union. When she receives a phone call to say she has won she forces her husband to go into town for the paper so she can see for herself. When he does not return home she rings a neighbour and learns there has been an accident.
