Spanish Conquistadors besieging an Indian stronghold are offered a three-day truce and given the chief's son as pledge. The Indians escape down a secret tunnel and the hostage evades torture to follow safely, since a young Englishman among the Conquistadors suggests he is actually a girl, and not worth pursuit.
