  • Editor's note: 'On telegraphing south that a case of leprosy existed in our Palmerston Hospital, and asking for instructions, the Government Resident was instructed to keep the patient in the Territory and decided to "keep it quiet." (See N. T. Times article, 8th June, 1889 ).'
