AbstractHistoryArchive Description

'This is Louise Bai's own story. Her account of her rebellion against the old ways in China where she grew up, the discrimination she experienced and finally her migration to Australia.

'Her autobiography is also the story of China, as it transitions out of the bleak days of Mao's Cultural Revolution and steps onto the world stage.

'In this self published account she tells her story in her own informal direct style. Although English is not her first language, as is evident in her writing, her passion shows through and she will undoubtedly be an interesting speaker.'
