'1946. Darkest Africa. Colour Sergeant Atkins - British Army - has been left to guard the barracks ... alone. It's time to pull down the flag (his beloved Colours) and the natives are getting restless for independence - but Atkins has other ideas!'

'The Colours' is 'a comic tale of one soldier's steadfast refusal to accept change in a world that no longer wants him.'
