  • Editorial on the merits of literary censorship, and its administration by the Customs Department. The editorial concludes : 'If the Commonweatlh Government deems that the care of public morals should not be entrusted to the law courts but should remain a matter for a public official, that public official should be a man of recognised literary attainments with a liberal outlook on life'.
