  • Contains a full-page portrait of Bertram Stevens (by Reg Russom, q.v.), the illustration had previously appeared in the Sunday Times. The accompanying caption reads: 'Mr Bertram Stevens died at his home at Lindfield, NSW, on February 14th...He was engaged for many years preparing a volume on "The History of Australian Literature", and it was his wish to have it published this year. This number of the "Home" was the last to be edited by Mr Stevens.' (p. 6)
